White and Green Vase
This piece was hand-built using coils of terra-cotta clay.White slip oxides and glazes were used to finish this piece. It has fun handles all around its waist, that adds character to this piece.It has pinched clay that that creates line and texture to the piece. The vase also has sgrafitto lines drawn into the clay. As it is very narrow and tall, it would be beautiful with Irises, Liatris, or Delphiniums. A dry flower arrangement could work also, or it can be on a table as art piece.
